South of France Tour 2007

WITH DAN WINTER, JEAN LUC, HENRY LINCOLN

Arrive June 29, Depart July 6

You will be meeting Jean Luc and Henry Lincoln for a special session at the Rennes-Le-Chateau — just for our South France Dan Winters group!

In his book, Jean Luc reveals how and when Sauniere gets to the Dordge Bank of Budapest — to pick up his money from the Hapsbourgs — but more interestingly WHY they paid him.

The investigation revealed that during Sauniere's period of exile from Rennes-Le-Chateau — he was hosted in Narbonne with his brother Alfred's employer Marquis de Chefdebien — close friend of Countess and earlier Comte de Chambord (who abdicated being King Henry V of France in favor of the republic). The Countess was Marie-Thérèse of Austria. Here we quote about this developing partnership for the priest Sauniere from Jean Luc Robin's book:

"Widow of the Heir to the Throne, she would certainly have reigned as Queen of France if her husband had become King. Yet more … and this is of the utmost importance … she was a Habsbourg, belonging to the family which has held Europe for five hundred years. This was the family which, in Saunière’s time, was the greatest political, economic and religious power on earth. The Habsbourgs were the Protectors of Rome and the Emperor of Austria had the well-nigh unheard-of privilege of holding a veto upon the election of a Pope. (Which privilege was used twice, with the Conclave having to think again — and showing the good sense to vote for the candidate of the Emperor’s choosing.)

This right — along with the power of the Habsbourgs — would finally come to an end with the assassination of the Archduke at Sarajevo — the event which was to plunge Europe into the First World War.

At this point, we might be allowed to ask ourselves a question. Why should such an influential person as Marie-Thérèse of Austria show the slightest interest in an obscure little country priest ? Why should she bestow upon him such largesse … the equivalent of five years of his salary ? And Saunière was to remain in touch with other members of the Imperial family. It seems that, more than once, the Habsbourgs were to provide Saunière with money. And if they were not the source, then how are we to explain his regular contact with the Fritz Dördge Bank of Budapest (the home and capital of the Habsbourgs)?"

—Quote from Jean Luc, whom you will personally meet on our South France retreat

More from Dan Winter…

Jean Luc and Henry's book — have some POWEFUL new pieces. As Jean Luc finished presenting to our group last year — inside the church at Rennes-le-Chateau, Jean Luc thoughtfully agreed with Dan Winter, that the mysterious Black Statue of Lucifer with horns holding up Magdalen at Rennes could in fact be related to the Egyptian history of Enki / Atun (for whom the Essene family of Magdalen - founder - the black AkunATUN / Moses — with horns — was named).

This lead to our grail study last year — connecting the Egyptian Nubian blood of ATUN to the Jesus / Black Madonna bloodline story.

We will see that the Seal of Solomon (Atun?) in the family line whose treasure and genetic record became the Hapsburg's payments to the famous Sauniere of Rennes le Chateau.

The royalty of Europe is Hapsburg, no matter what their name. The royal family of England is one such example.

So, the Hapsburg's just lost their trump card on the Pope. This indirectly becomes the trigger point of BOTH world wars. The Hapsburg's are playing for their new trump card. What is it?

Here is where we read in Gardner's "Bloodline of the Holy Grail" about the Hapsburg's and other European royal families rise to power. The turning point was during one critical generation when a significant number of Europes royal houses gathered together to defraud the REAL bloodline descendancy from the Merovingians "the bees" and the bloodline from Akunatun / Moses / Arcadia / Benjamin / Magda. The family that was defrauded OUT of power was called the DESPOSYNI. Their ancestors went as far back as the Druids and the Visigoths. The Visigoth's are really the high Annunaki — likely related to the Highlander 'immortals' story — AND their CAPITAL was supposedly Rennes-le-Chateau.

SO the family jewels AND family blood line genetics were key to Hapsburg's claim to power.

The turning point in the story has to do with WHY the earlier priest Bigou — escaping Rennes-Le-Chateau around 1792 — bloody French war of the Republic vs Royalth — had SOMETHING TO HIDE.

Again quoting from Jean Luc's book—

"For Bigou had a secret. He held documents which he could not — under any circumstances — dare risk having found in his possession. Eleven years before, in 1781, my great-aunt, Marie de Négri d’Able, chatelaine of Rennes-le-Château, marquise d’Hautpoul de Blanchefort, had passed away. When she felt that her end was near, she had sent for Antoine Bigou, to hear her final confession. She was no longer on good terms with her children. In fact, her daughters, my cousins, had taken her to court for squandering the family fortune. There was nothing left for them to inherit. All her remaining goods and chattels were bequeathed to Bigou. And — most particularly — she entrusted to him her ancestors’ entire family archive.

Our family, the Hautpouls de Blanchefort, is one of the oldest in the Languedoc. We’d survived the period of the Cathares and we’d been linked with the Templars. My ancestor, Bertrand de Blanchefort, was third Grand Master of the Order. It seems that the family held some sort of secret in the form of documents — and these were among the archive which my great-aunt left to Bigou. They had been handed down from generation to generation, their origin always shrouded in the deepest secrecy.

Our coat of arms includes the Seal of Solomon, which bears witness to their ancient origin and also to our family’s mission. Bigou officiated at the funeral of the marquise and was one of the co—signatories of the record of her death in the parish registers. Time passed … and our priest became rich. But we can be fairly confident that he preserved our family fortune intact. He had, after all, sufficient income, as he owned a house and land in the village. He’d succeeded his own uncle as priest of Rennes-le-Château and so he knew perfectly well that there were secrets hidden here. When the Revolution broke out in 1789, some of the local families opted for exile — and left their fortunes in the care of the Abbé Bigou, whom they knew to be totally trustworthy. Certainly, they were hoping to return when the danger was past. No one imagined, for a moment, that priests would be troubled. And so, in 1792, when Bigou was forced, in his turn, to take flight, he was in possession of immense resources."

We now know the Seal of Solomon — is Atun / Enki / Hermes — the family from AkunATUN became Moses— the Essenes — then Benjamin / Magda and the ArKAdia lineage.

Blood has the power to rise up on a fountain of charge implosion. This is why Mygdala (the MAG is Mother of AGni) means TO TOWER. The relationship between charge symmetry (the Pent of Rennes) and FIRE IN THE BLOOD — IS the real mystery of the Grail. We are now seeing the history story and the physics of learning how to fire up the blood — converge PERFECTLY. Maybe — in time to … save our genepool???

You will be personally meeting and talking with Henry Lincoln at our retreat!

About the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail and Henry Lincoln

Michael Baigent, Henry Lincoln, and Richard Leigh, authors of The Messianic Legacy, spent over 10 years on their own kind of quest for the Holy Grail, into the secretive history of early France. What they found, researched with the tenacity and attention to detail that befits any great quest, is a tangled and intricate story of politics and faith that reads like a mystery novel. It is the story of the Knights Templar, and a behind-the-scenes society called the Prieure de Sion, and its involvement in reinstating descendants of the Merovingian bloodline into political power. Why?

The authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail assert that their explorations into early history ultimately reveal that Jesus may not have died on the cross, but lived to marry and father children whose bloodline continues today. The authors' point here is not to compromise or to demean Jesus, but to offer another, more complete perspective of Jesus as God's incarnation in man. The power of this secret, which has been carefully guarded for hundreds of years, has sparked much controversy. For all the sensationalism and hoopla surrounding Holy Blood, Holy Grail and the alternate history that it outlines, the authors are careful to keep their perspective and sense of skepticism alive in its pages, explaining carefully and clearly how they came to draw such combustible conclusions.  —Jodie Buller

In summary, the authors argue that there is evidence that Jesus married Mary Magdalene, had one or more children, and that those children or their descendants emigrated to what is now southern France. Once there, they intermarried with the noble families that would eventually become the Merovingian dynasty, which is championed today by a secret society called the Priory of Sion.

An international bestseller upon its release, The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail spurred interest in a number of ideas related to its central thesis. Response from mainstream historians and academics, however, was nearly universally negative. Professional historians argued that the bulk of the claims, ancient mysteries and conspiracy theories presented as fact, are pseudohistorical. Nevertheless, these ideas would then be fictionalised by Dan Brown in 2003 in his runaway best-seller novel The Da Vinci Code, even using Richard Leigh’s last name for the character Leigh Teabing’s first name, and Michael Baigent’s last name, scrambled, for Leigh Teabing’s last name.

You will hear personally from Henry why he considers the discoveries he has made since this time to be far more important, far more real and exciting than 'holy bloodlines' .

Origins of the Da Vinci Code (Henry's DVD documentary — refer below for link) is the most authentic introduction to the very beginnings of the story that culminated in the publication of Dan Brown's novel. But more than that, it takes you on an extraordinary exploration of secrets and discoveries that you will never find in 'The Da Vinci Code'.

Henry Lincoln, the prime author of 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' has a fascinating tale to tell of the 24 years of research since publiction of that book. Here in this DVD, for the first time, you will see why Henry Lincoln considers the discoveries he has made in this time to be far more important, far more real and exciting than 'holy bloodlines' and the controversial hypothesis that made both HBHG and now DVC publishing phenomena.

ABOUT HENRY LINCOLN

Henry Lincoln first learned of the curious mystery surrounding Rennes-le-Chateau in 1969. Holidaying in France, he bought himself a little light reading, a paperback entitled 'Le Trésor Maudit' (The Accursed Treasure). It told the story of a tiny, virtually unknown village in the foothills of the Pyrenees and the much-loved priest who lived and worked there at the end of the nineteenth century.

Lincoln had stumbled across a subject that would provide him with half a lifetime's work and involve him in three BBC films, two international best sellers, a series on Discovery channel and a 2-hour video documentary guide. Now, of course, interest in the subject has received a major boost with the success of Dan Brown's novel 'The Da Vinci Code,' which draws heavily on the research undertaken by Lincoln. In fact the first character we meet in the novel is named for that real-life priest of Rennes-le-Château, Bérenger Saunière.

The Priest, The Parchments and The Painter

The book that Lincoln found told how, in 1891, Sauniere discovered four ancient parchments hidden in his church. He took these parchments with him on a visit to Paris, where he met with various luminaries from occult and secret societies and where he purchased from the Louvre prints of particular paintings by Teniers and Poussin. Upon his return to the village and until his death in 1917, Sauniere lived the life of a very wealthy man, buying land, building houses, making charitable gifts and flamboyantly refurbishing his little village church.

Clues

Bérenger Saunière didn't just redecorate his church. He filled it with esoteric symbolism — statuary and paintings that hint at alchemy, heresy and the occult. Every embellishment in his church at Rennes-le-Château seems like a clue in a great treasure hunt that points — unequivocally — to the countryside around Rennes-le-Chateau itself. No one knows for sure whether Bérenger Saunière found treasure or not, or what that treasure may have been, but the clues he deliberately planted have created a fascinating and enduring enigma.

Films and Books

Henry Lincoln was intrigued by the story. He was also amazed to discover, hidden in the reproductions of the parchments in that little paperback book, cryptic clues that were not referred to in the text. These clues led to many new and fascinating lines of inquiry, including links to the Knights Templar and the Cathars. Eventually his researches led to the production of a BBC TV documentary, 'The Lost Treasure of Jerusalem?', in 1972. This was followed two years later by a second film, 'The Priest, the Painter and the Devil' and in 1979 by a third, 'The Shadow of the Templars'.

In 1982 and 1986 he co-wrote two international best-sellers, 'The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail' and 'The Messianic Legacy' (with Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh). The books sparked off a world-wide storm of controversy with their hypothesis that Saunière could have stumbled across an explosive secret: Jesus had married and fathered a bloodline which still survives to this day. It is this hypothesis that insired Dan Brown's book, 'The Da Vinci Code'.

New Discoveries

These fascinating and provocative books present a hypothetical interpretation of what is largely hearsay evidence. The facts themselves are few and far between. But since they were written, Lincoln's further researches into the few facts that do exist about Rennes-le-Château have taken him deeper and deeper into one of the strangest mysteries of modern times. Decoding the geometry hidden in a painting by Nicolas Poussin led him to the discovery of something far more complex and far more ancient, something that explains why Rennes-Le-Château has been the source of so much drama and mystery. What was revealed was a natural and perfect pentacle of mountain peaks, surrounded by a titanic man-made temple whose geometric and engineering complexity challenges our ideas about the capabilities of our ancestors.

The temple is invisible simply because it is too vast to be seen. Described as "the eighth wonder of the ancient world", it stretches for miles across the landscape of Rennes-Le-Château and links the village with Brittany and with Bornholm, a tiny island in the Baltic Sea.

The evidence and the discoveries are detailed in two books, 'The Holy Place' (1991) and 'The Templars' Secret Island' (2000, co-written with Erling Haagensen). 'The Secret', a four-part documentary on Rennes-Le-Chateau, written and presented by Henry for TV2 Denmark, is available from Illuminated Word, as is a 2-hour video made in 2000, 'Henry Lincoln's Guide to Rennes-le-Château'. October 2005 saw the release of the DVD, 'Origins of the Da Vinci Code' — an in-depth study of Henry Lincoln's story and the sacred geometry of Rennes-le-Chateau and Bornholm.

Today

However many avenues of inquiry have been opened up over the years by research into the mystery of Rennes-le-Château, hard facts have been difficult to come by. The story of the priest Bérenger Saunière remains "slight" and he can still only be "supposed" to have found a treasure. Although highly entertaining, the numerous suppositions and theories concerning treasure and conspiracy that have surfaced over the years are nevertheless ideas based largely on hearsay. They have little chance of ever being proven as fact, no matter how well researched.

But those who have pursued Henry Lincoln's more recent investigations will know that the real mystery of Rennes-le-Château is one based upon facts — facts that are concrete, demonstrable and provable. The geometry that has been discovered in the landscape surrounding the village IS something that can be measured and analysed objectively. It is the purpose of this site to introduce you to this fascinating subject and also to the parallel discoveries on the Baltic island of Bornholm, made by the Danish investigator Erling Haagensen.

The landscape geometries of Rennes-le-Château and Bornholm pose many many questions about our understanding of history and the knowledge and abilities that our ancestors possessed. I hope you may be amongst those priveleged enough to find some of the answers.
