An Introduction to Four Pillars of Destiny Chinese Astrology with Vic Ketis

This lecture introduces the unique and insightful form of Chinese Astrology called the Four Pillars of Destiny. More complex than the more common form of Chinese Astrology which looks at only the year of birth, but also includes your month, day and hour. Examples of charts of people prominent in the public eye will be presented such as entertainers and politicians. Current astrological trends will also be examined looking at the influence of the current year, the Chinese year of the Rooster, and looking ahead to 2006, the Year of the Dog. What are their qualities and how can we expect them to affect us. We can also examine charts of global events such as the Asian Tsunami of Dec 2004. The emphasis of this lecture will be the application of Four Pillars Astrology to our personal health dynamics and Feng Shui requirements and orientations. Time permitting an example or two will be taken from the audience. An informative and engaging lecture that looks at this unique form of Astrology.

Chart Construction and Basic Interpretation

There is much more to personal astrology than just your year of birth. Four Pillars of Destiny considers not only your year of birth but also your month, day and hour. Each is represented by two Chinese elements, these being wood, fire, earth, metal and water. This configuration of elemental characters makes up the qualities inherent in your life and destiny. What potentials do you have, and how and when can they be fulfilled.

This one-day workshop gives the opportunity to construct a personal chart and examines the basics of chart interpretation. It gives insight into personal qualities such as career potential, relationships, health dynamics, finances, creativity etc. Feng Shui preferences and orientations can also be seen. Our life cycles called ''Luck Pillars'' can also be listed out which illuminate which cycles are more favorable and which more difficult, and the prevalent themes of these time periods.

Yearly influences and cycles are also examined this being the Year of the Rooster.
An engaging and informative workshop, Chinese Astrology also provides a forecasting tool for predicting favourable events and time periods, a skill highly regarded by the Chinese.
