The Fragrant Space: Using Essential Oils in Feng Shui
with Peter Holmes, L.Ac., M.H., A.H.G. |
We spend billions of dollars yearly in using fragrance to enhance our body space, yet hardly give a thought to using fragrance for enhancing our daily living environment. The fact is that the diffusion of genuine essential
oils in the home or work environment can play a significant role in both interior design and therapeutic enhancement. Regardless of the specific feng shui principles used, essential oils can act as powerful modulators of interior space and light. We will look at the various fragrance qualities of oils and how they affect spatial size and density, and light intensity and saturation. The interplay of light and fragrance in the container of space also has profound healing implications that directly affect mental and emotional disposition.
