The Impact of Topography on Human Destiny
with Alex Stark

Topography has impacted on human civilization since the beginning of time. Feng shui masters have studied this dynamic and have developed sophisticated techniques for analyzing land form, water patterns, and their interaction with settlements. Known as Earth and Water Dragons, these formations are at the hearth of successful civilizations and are the source of personal and political power.

This lecture looks at Earth & Water Dragons, ley lines, Dragon Veins, underground water formations, and other topographical formations. We will see why New York, Hong Kong, London, and other centers of power are so influential in the world. We will also learn to recognize these patterns when working with clients.

Creating Sacred Space with Alex Stark

Creating sacred space has become a priority in our times. From a simple home altar to whole cities, contemporary efforts to re-create sacred environments are becoming increasingly sophisticated. This lecture analyzes the components of sacred space and how to bring them together into a successful venture. Based on real-life examples from my own contemporary clients, plus extensive research into world architecture, this lecture will cover the sacredness in the land, sacred forms in design and architecture, how the community interacts with sacred space, and how the sacredness in these spaces is maintained, regenerated, and honored.

Achieving Spiritual Mastery
(pre-conference workshop: Thursday 4th August: 10-5pm)

We are living in very difficult times, and the challenge that faces all of us involves a redefinition of our relationships to the earth, our communities, and our selves. Learning to negotiate this increasingly complex landscape can be daunting. However, spiritual cultivation is a source not only of strength and resilience in the face of these challenges, but it is also a path to earthly success. The key to both is, as it always has been, the simultaneous cultivation of Love and of Power as twin faces of the same force in the Universe.

This workshop leads the students through a journey of discovery through stages of accomplishment that lead to spiritual mastery. This practice is based on traditional western teachings, shamanic empowerment practices, oriental ji gung, and Jungian psychology, and includes many exercises that can greatly increase personal power, clairvoyance, and empathy. This practice combines heart and mind, spirit and body, and is a great asset to anyone who wants to make a significant contribution to the ever-changing times.
